MonitoringRapid Stream Survey
Rapid Stream Surveys combine habitat typing with dive surveys. Habitat typing is a survey method that collects information about protective cover, pool depth, nutrients and toxins, invasive aquatic species, temperature and flow. The MSG follows the habitat typing methods outlined in the Coastal Watershed Planning and Assessment Program. Rapid Stream Surveys are conducted in the spring and fall in conjunction with the Temperature Monitoring Program site visits.
