The Mattole Salmon Group's habitat enhancement projects are defined by monitoring and research programs that span every season. Some projects involve partnerships with other organizations or agencies, and some rely on volunteers from in and around the watershed.

Projects include adult and juvenile monitoring, diving surveys, water quality monitoring, and large woody debris placement.
